A UAE air duct inquiry is easier to compare when the buyer sends a coordinated package, rather than a duct size and an estimated quantity. Before requesting fabrication, identify the project location, drawing revision, approval status and delivery responsibilities. The checklist below helps a procurement team turn those decisions into a usable order schedule.
Confirm the emirate and approval route
Dubai Municipality provides the Dubai Building Code as a building-design resource for Dubai. Treat that jurisdiction explicitly: it does not establish requirements for every UAE emirate. Ask the project consultant to identify the applicable authority, specifications and approvals for the actual site, whether in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or elsewhere. Record who approves the material submittal and which drawing revision authorizes fabrication.
Build an itemized duct and fitting schedule
Give each duct section or fitting a drawing reference and quantity. Include:
- System and zone: supply, return, extract or outdoor air, with the intended operating conditions.
- Geometry: round diameter or rectangular dimensions, straight lengths, fitting angles and connection details.
- Construction: specified metal, finish, sheet thickness and approved fabrication requirements.
- Accessories: branches, reducers, flanges, gaskets, access doors and support interfaces.
- Terminals and controls: outlet sizes, damper tags and interfaces with the air-conditioning equipment.
Compare 镀锌螺旋风管 with the approved circular routes. Where insulation is specified, discuss 保温螺旋风管 against the insulation schedule. List each 圆形弯头 separately, including its angle and connection, instead of relying on a general fittings allowance.
Coordinate cooling, insulation and moisture control
Mark which routes are in conditioned space and which pass through unconditioned service areas. For cooled-air runs, resolve the insulation build-up, vapour-control continuity and joint sealing before ordering.
The U.S. Department of Energy's building-science guidance explains that insulating metal ducts in unconditioned spaces with a vapour barrier helps limit heat transfer and condensation, while sealing addresses leakage. This is general technical guidance, not a UAE compliance specification. Have the project designer set the required performance and detailing, then check that supports, access doors and terminal connections accommodate the finished insulated dimensions.

Check installation readiness before fabrication
Review the duct route alongside the structure, electrical services, other pipework and ceiling access. Confirm support interfaces, installation sequence and inspection responsibilities with the contractor and consultant. Keep access to balancing devices and inspection doors in the coordination discussion. Use our industrial and logistics installation references to discuss layout options; the reference images do not establish a completed UAE installation.
Agree receiving and package identification
Confirm the buyer-nominated port or delivery point in writing. The buyer and appointed logistics provider should establish the required shipping documents, consignee details, unloading arrangements, storage conditions and onward transport for that shipment. A port name alone does not settle these responsibilities.
Propose package labels showing the project reference, system or zone, schedule item, drawing revision, quantity and batch identifier. Let the project team approve that format and any grouping by installation area before packing. Shipment dates, receiving arrangements and transport timing need order-specific confirmation.

Send one coordinated request for quotation
Combine the approved drawings, itemized quantities, material requirements, insulation interfaces, inspection expectations and agreed delivery scope in one RFQ. Highlight unresolved decisions rather than allowing the supplier to guess. A clear package gives the buyer a practical basis for comparing offers and preparing the installation handover.
